Enjoy a glimpse of cherry picking at Orchard Country.....the Montmorency tart cherry trees are harvested mid July-early August in an average year. Stop by and pick your own tart cherries from 9am-5pm daily. Pails provided for picking. Sweet cherries are also available for purchase in the market.

Follow our mechancical cherry harvester.... as it shakes 7,000 tart cherries off each tree in 7 seconds. During the month of July cherries are mechanically harvested across the Door County peninsula and taken to a processor to be pitted, graded and placed into plastic containers to be frozen and used year-round.
